It all started with the World Cup 2010, the Durban beach promenade was redeveloped & repurposed, 3 beach side cafes were proposed, which ultimately became fan parks for the duration of the tournament. Koop design secured the development tender for the south point node & the venue was born. Surf Riders Cafe opened its doors 2014 as a unique beach dining experience. Durban was hooked.
